“Entrepreneurial Contexts, Decisions, and Strategies”
Who should attend this conference?
Entrepreneurship scholars in Europe, conducting basic research in business, economics, geography, psychology, sociology or other fields to present and discuss their findings across disciplines with other experts. This conference will not include papers on entrepreneurship education.
Submissions for research papers (conference) will be welcome on the following and similar topics:
- Competitive strategies of new ventures
- Context, cognition and decision-making
- Motivation
- Personal and organizational success factors
- Venture capital, finance and banking
- Managing growth and organizational development
- Human resource management in an entrepreneurial context
- Regional networks and infrastructure
- Employment effects
- Research methodology
Best Research Paper Award:
There will be a conference best paper award of € 1,000 sponsored by the Lindner Foundation for the best research paper presented by scholars at the conference.
Language:
The conference language is English.
Conference Publication:
We are planning to publish a selection of papers in an edited book.
Submissions:
A maximum of a two page abstract must be submitted electronically by email to:

The file should be named with the last name of the first author. After notification of acceptance, a full paper must be submitted by January 31, 2008.

For attendees the fee including the social event and conference banquet is € 300.
For presenters, students or doctoral students the fee is € 150.
